Here to update CG sermon for yesterday.....
We were suppose to be Jem's house t 1.30 but most of us arrived at 1.45 so CG started late....
his week Cg msg was: The power of the connect group....
Matthew 18:18-20
18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 19 “Again I say[a] to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
Thus, This verse shows us that as a group where more than 2 people are gathered, God's presence will be there.... so whatever we pray,It shall be done unto us....
As a connect group we pray for.....
1)Harvest
John 4:35
35 Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!
As believers,we should be ready to reach out and invite our friends....
Proverbs 11:30
30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life,
And he who wins souls is wise.
How do we win people to christ???
There are 7 things we can do to win people to christ,...
1)Believe in them
-Encourage them and always give your support that they can do it!!!
2)Be interested in them(in good things!!!)
3)Emphatize with people
-In bad times, console your friends and in good times, Laugh with them....
4)Smile
-people find you more approachable and friendly when you smile
5)Help people at your expense
-In chc, There is a ministry called, City care. This open the lives of people who lost hope and make them come closer to God....
6) Agree and add, Don't contridy and subtract...
-try your level best to be a good listener and agree with them....
7)Don't argue with theology, we share our testimony
- if you have a friend who is a christian and told you that in my church we don't believe in the holy spirit, we should share our knowlede of the bible with them but not to ague with them!!!!
so this are the few ways on how we should invite our friends.....
In closing... As christians lets really make a difference to people's life around us.....

After cg, we head down to service and attended service then we celebrated our CGL, Jeremy's birthday!!!
then we went popeyes and ate then we were talking some lame stuff and then went back home....hee...hee...
