Sorry for not updating the blog for the fast few weeks... I am now here to update the cg sermon of what Jem shared last week during CG meeting.....









-------------Central theme of Easter------------




we celebrated Easter A few weeks back and brought lots of friends also.... But what is the main thing about Easter??? Some people say that Easter is all about the Easter bunny and the eggs.... While some say that it is a public holiday where we can go out...





But do you know what is the real theme of Easter and what happened during Easter 2000 years ago and the purpose of Easter...???



1Tim 2:3-4



3This is good, and pleases God our Savior,

4who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.


-God wants all people to be saved and know the word....



1 Tim 1:15



15Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.



-Jesus came to the world to save us from sins and brought us closer to God...



Romans 3:23

23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,


-This shows that all have sinned and fallen short of God...

What is the definition of sin???

-Inward spiritual attitude of rebellion against God , which is expressed in outward acts of disobedience.-

Because of Easter and because Jesus rise up on the third day for the forgiveness of our sins... We have the holy spirit and the choice of not to sin anymore.... We have the strength to overcome the sin.

John 14:6
6Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

There are 3 historical facts....


1Corinthian 15:5-6
5and that he appeared to Peter,[a] and then to the Twelve. 6After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.


1)Christ died for our sins

-He also died for our sickness....

2)He was buried

3)On the third day, He rose again...


rev 3:20
20Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

How do you know that you are saved???

1)Believe in your heart that God had risen Jesus from the dead.

2)Confess with you mouth that Jesus is Lord.

Eph 2:8-9

8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast.
