Being free from guilt..... Here is the quick intro of Jephthah..... you can see that: *He was the son of the prostitute *Had very low self-esteem *was drove out of the house by his own step mother's sons *Felt rejected by everyone even by his family *Because of this he fled to the land of Tob; and worthless men banded together *Suffered from guilt and shame There are 3 things that will determine your life.... 1) people you stay around with.(You will be like the person you stick around with. You will get influenced by the person you mix around with. Like if you Mix around with people who doesn't have visions and dream dreams , You will just like them!) 2)Our life will change with the books we read.(like reading the book that a motivated author writes, we will get motivated.) 3) The thoughts we allow in our minds.(Like if we allow negative thoughts in our mind, we may have a limited mind but if we only have positive thought like 'everything is possible with Christ Jesus' then we will be able to step out.)
17 A man tormented by the guilt of murder will be a fugitive till death; let no one support him. If you don't choose to release your guilt ,It will torment you until you die. Your emotions will be affected. But if you chose to release it, your life will change. Isaiah 43:1 1 But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “ Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. Isaiah 43:25 25 “ I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins. we can be redeemed from guilt Isaiah 53:4 4 Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. We just have let God handle our guilt... how to handle guilt??? *1: To have correct view of God A) Not to have too High view of God (Like you felt that you can't even forgive yourself and you think that God can't Forgive you!!!) B) low view of God.... 1 peter 4:8 8Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 1 john 4:9-10 9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. *2: Revelation of God's love as our hiding place Psalms 32:1-7 1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered. 2 Blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit. 3 When I kept silent, my bones grew old Through my groaning all the day long. 4 For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was turned into the drought of summer. Selah 5 I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah 6 For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him. 7 You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah *3: Repent form all our sins. *4: Reset expectation of yourself and release yourself from all expectation from others( you don live for others , you live for yourself... so set your own goals and don't let others set it for you...) After that we went for service and went fellowship and went back home.... -vino- |
